So day two has come and gone and what a place to be in. Slightly more successful today in that there was some breakfast in the hostle even if there was only soya milk left :( But i didnt care, i had managed to eat something and on my way to my final day of classroom and pool work. After 3 moer hours in a very bracing swimming pool, even with wetsuit on and our skills training was complete untill we hit the big pond! However after lunch got to look forward to so...

So one day into the scuba diving course! For those of you who dont know i have decided to do my Padi Open Water diving, for more than half the english price and the benefit, i will be spending 2 days 1 night LIVING on the reef... phwar cant beat that ey! So i arrived again bit nervouse but everyones in same boat well everyone... i have a group of 4, an irish girl, Dutch girl and Italian Guy once we got in the water and talking started everyone seems really nice...

Yesterday was quite a lazy day... although waking up at 5am! took a nice gentle strole towards town and the lagoon, on the way however saw MILLIONS of crabs, some quite big 1s all on the beach and until they moved very much invisible from amazing camoflage! a rather gd reason not to venture on the beach! i then saw signs with suggestions for not going on the beach 'Caution water contains jelly fish... crockdiles are known to venture onto the beach' good enough ...

So i finally arrive at the project centre having navigated my way through cairns to find different busses and working out bus times and stf! first time really walking for long periods with my bag on back so was soaking by the time i made it! for once i wasnt first and on my own for ages.... i was second! hehe what are the odds that the girl who beat me there is english, and after a little time tlking turns out she is starting at plymouth uni in septembre aswel? ...

Wednesday was arguably one of the hardest days i have had to experience on my own! I woke up in the morning with my eyes almost crusted over and they were completly red, was scary to even look at! i put it down to having just had them exposed to bright like for too long! having stayed inside and wearing sun-glasses seems to have calmed them down! I got stuck inside though, through feeling tired and soo home sick i could do nothing but sit there wollowing in self...
