Today me and Bridget went looking for the Tur-Bus office to book my bus trip to Cusco. We got the metro to the bus station, a schoolgirl was staring at me and eventually piped up with "Tienes los ojos lindos" which means you have beautiful eyes. I just said thanks and got off at my stop. The bus station was really busy and disorientating..yeah we got lost and couldn't find each other. I found the righ office and bought my ticket. However there is no direct service to Cusco so I must go to Lima and then catch a flight to Cusco. The next bus leaving for Lima is on the 17th due to the Easter holidays so I've got to hang out in Santiago for a few more days. My bus journey is going to take 50 hours! I got the metro back to the hostel and chatted to a Swiss guy called Tommy from Lucerne. He was a bit of a chatterbox but a nice guy. Rachael and Rebecca left today to fly to La Paz. Me and Tommy signed up for the pasta night and sat next to a brother and sister from Winchester. We had a good laugh and drank some really sugary Pisco sour (home-made). The bolognese was really good and we also had red wine as part of the night. We had some banter until 2am and then headed to bed.
