Day 9; From Granon too Villifranco 27 km's.
Walked along aside a main road a lot of the time and we had trucks tooted their horns at us made encouraging us on our Camino.
Every one is feeling very tired and achy especially the feet. This is our 9th day on the road, not doing so bad considering we are spending 8 hours a day on our feet and not much sleep at night.
The story of the day:
Cynthia and Simon mother and son part of our Camino family came on the walk after Simon wrote a note to his mum saying "I think this is some thing we could do together mum especially with your strong faith" and left some walking shorts and some hiking equipment with it. Very special people.
Walked and stopped in heat under trees to rest feet and spoke to our mystery man Luke the reverse walker, another interesting story...
Had sangria for happy hour and ate pilgrim meal in hotel restaurant with our Camino family, as this may the last time we may be together, Bill and Sue and Simon and Cynthia have to move on quicker because of departure flights.
