After 24 hours of flying it was great to reach Irun in the Northern part of Spain. Taxi driver from airport to accommodation very helpful in pointing out Albergue and direction of Camino. Brought a few supples for next day. Sorted out pack and crawled into bed.

re: Burgos, SpainLinda Hi Sue - the Geraldton Rogaine was a thistle and prickle affair, with its own challenges - not the same as a pilgrimage on the Camino. Great to hear how and where you are. re: Burgos, Spainsarah Humm does differnt routes mean Sue hitched a ride and Gaelie a Limo. If you were on the bib you are 1/2 way great effort look after those feet and even when you are tempted to swear at them speak nicely and softly to them. Great new future days with a kg less of sleeping bags. No carlos for massage dash it. Some of the building sound a bit old! Thats Europe for you! Hee hee see if you can find some young wine to compensate.
