Day 17; An early start to the day and a quick 18 km's into Mansilla where Tracey run the last 18 km's into Leon and Douglas walked while we took their packs and caught the bus, not a bad idea as mostly all industry area. Checked into the albergue which had a curfew of 9.30 Andrew wasn't impressed as it was a friday night . Had a look around Leon and another pilgrim meal and a quick walk back to the Alberque before they looked the doors. They wouldn't give us a blanket until after the prayer meeting so had to use a mattress cover. Happy to be out of Leon.

It is the way that you follow and a way that you go but it is not what you receive on the Camino that decides the passage it is what you give and in the giving you receive the greatest gift of the Camino.

Live a life you'll enjoy looking back on, savour every moment, treasure every friend and guard your heart but not to closely. Stand for what you believe in, follow your goals, follow a calling. Be prepared to let go once in a while. The steps you take today, lead you to tomorrow...
