Today instead of having a second field trip for the week, things were changed around and we found ourselves once again in the classroom listening to lectures. We started out the morning with a branding lecture and it took up most of the morning, we also had our introduction to Milan. It was really interesting to hear about some of the high end fashion designers and how they have to protect their brands. After that was done we had our next seminar that was given by Anrea Sorrento who is one of the fashion consultants for most of the movies/costumes we were given the opportunity to see the day before at tirelli's warehouse in Rome. It was aamzing to listen to him talk about all aspects of fashion and to watch him draw pictures of these designs in no time at all. Of course being a fashion major and loving the vintage looks that he was drawing on regular paper I jumped at the chance to have him sign a few of the pieces he had drawn during his lecture and decided they would become the new artwork on my walls back in Auburn. It wasn't until I decided to have him sign them that the others started to do the same.. lol. Once we finished with his lecture we were then free for lunch.. yay for lunch except mine would be spent walking down to the Italy Police Station to give them the story of the wallet being stolen last night outside of the palace.. of course we would walk down to the station (me and the girls involved) and we would be told to come back later in the day.. so we went back to class and then walked all the way back for a 10 minute talk of the night before. The day was definately an interesting one.
