Wednesday May 11th: Well was our first real day in Italy and it was really action packed, we walked around everywhere. To start off the morning, we had our orientations to everything with the auburn professor that is staying with us for the entire summer. We then got the chance to meet the rest of the Chigi Palace staff. Then after that Cinzia our Italy tour guide took us to the TIM phone store so we were able to get our Italian phones, sim cards, and minutes for the next couple of months. That was definitely an interesting part to the day because we didn't really understand what we were doing at the phone store- that and the phones and everything was crazy expensive. Once we got our phones taken care of we then walked to the supermarket so that we were able to get a couple of groceries so we could eat more at the palace instead of spending giant amounts on food.
