Today was a long day of classes which only really means one thing... a short blog day. We started off the day with a sketching class in the Chigi Palace park (we are the only group that has ever had the chance to sketch inside the palace park). It was really fun to be able to sketch what we see in front of us for 30 minutes. After we had the sketch class with Peek, we then had history with Marco. Once history was over we then had our 2 hour Italian Language class where we got to play the chutes and ladders game we all played as little kids.. excpet that this one had a twist: each square had a phrase or a question and we had to figure out what it said and respond correctly in Italian. It was definately interesting. Once Italian was over we were given a 2 hour break for lunch and we had to be back in class at 3pm for our art history lesson with our baroque specialist. It was very interesting to hear about the paintings we would see during the next days field trip. Then once that class was over at 5 it was time to present out Current Event topics to the entire group. The day finally ended (school work wise) when we finished our weekly group meeting. Now just 1 more day in between our official midterm break... we are all really excited for that to be here.
