Well today was the 4th of July and it just doesn't feel the same at all being here in Italy. Of course since they don't celebrate that, we don't get to hear or see any fireworks. We started out the day by being in classes for close to 8 hours total. It was a long day but surprisingly the classes felt alot shorter than they typically do some of the time. Due to us being in classses for 8 hours, we had planned to have a celebration/cookout at Peek (our auburn professors) apartment. It was pretty fun to finally eat a hotdog after 2 months of not having one. They were definately different than we were accustomed to and of course a lot smaller but they were still great. After our party it was time for bed since we had to be up way to early the next day for our field trip.
