Today was the first day of our 10 day midterm break. To start off the morning Mom and Dad came down to the palace for thier tour of the place in which I am living in for this study abroad program. Seeing that we were the only ones for our tour-- it was in Italian because they didn't have an english tour guide. For me personally it was interesting to hear the tour in Italian after seeing it once before in english. They loved the tour. After that it was then time to grab some lunch and head off to Albano for the train to Rome. Dad and I went and ate lunch down the corso while mom took a nap before walking to the train station. We arrived at the train station and had to wait.. of course when you plan things out the train never shows up on time. We eventually made it to Rome and set off to find out hotel that was located near the spanish steps. We arrived at our hotel and decided to take a nap and just relax for our first night in Rome. It was really relaxing. To start of the time we were spending in Rome, we ate a light and early dinner and then did the Rick Steves night tour through Rome, we started out at the Trevi Fountain at night and ended up coming across the Pantheon where a group of students were sining "eye of the tiger" in Italian. I was shocked to hear auburn music in italian.
