Today is Sunday and I can't believe that the weekend has already flown by us. It seems like as soon as we blink our eyes the weekend is gone and it's time for the new week to begin. I never realized how much I would love this place and how I would feel coming on this trip across the world not knowing hardly anyone in this group of 23 girls. Sitting here writing this blog, I realized that before we know it we will be packing for home and saying goodbye to the beautiful town of Ariccia. With it being the weekend, its Laundry day in the Palace... which means that tons of clothes are strung up all over the place in our rooms because our dryer pulls the air out of the clothes which stretches them out, our clothes already don't fit and it just adds to the baggyness. It's really frustrating to have to plan out what you want to wear because it takes forever for our clothes to dry. With it being the weekend, we don't have a curfew some nights so most of us have been staying out late and sleeping in.. like today.. most of the girls didn't wake up till past 1 pm *but asking the locals-- thats normal partying hours for them.... party all night and sleep all the next day & then we repeat*. It was definiately nice to just lounge around in our Pjs for the whole day and to just catch up on homework for the whole week and the assignments due next week becasue we are going to be gone on the road touring all over italy this week. Im sure it's going to be lovely at the end coming home back to the palace after hiking for 2 days in Cinque Terre. Today's been rather boring in the Palace-- homework, eating, and sleeping, then trying to pack for an entire week plus the weekend in one really tiny bag.. thats my evening goal.
