Relaxing day today...I promised Fred this week would be quiet so am trying to have a few quiet ones...I went for an hours walk north today to city centre....then went back, had shower and took Fred for walk I went on yesterday morning...lovely...stopped at coffee shop at sailing hire in two mile bay...really neat...Came home and I went for swim....had lunch ... We both rested and then went to Irish pub for dinner...Fred's request! Lots of black swans in the lake...so elegant! On my walk I walked past a "hole in one" competition....a raft in water with 2 bunkers and one hole in it...you buy balls for $1 each...if you get it in the hole you win $10,000! It is packed all day but only on average once a year does someone win! We learned the there are no parking metres....but watch the signs...each parking spot has an electronic device on the ground which automatically times how long you are there...if you overextend by one minute even you are sent a parking ticket! A need to know fact here!
