Got up and had a full cooked breakfast...hot bread, yogurt, fruit, cereal, bacon and eggs! Wow! the two other couples staying here are Canadians from Toronto...would not believe it! So lots of Canada talk! Our hostess told us there was to be a really bad storm coming in...apparently hit Christchurch real bad! So we got out early and did a walk around the bay which was lovely...took a chair for Fred and that worked wonders. Sea is very clear and very green...just pristine! We went to an Irish pub and played darts...I won! And then to a spot on water for lunch. We were told ferry might not go tomorrow due to weather so went and checked that out....they did not know...all depends on weather....if we can't get on at 11 we should be able to get on at two! Just wait and see I guess....back to room to see out storm which was short and sweet so far...but we saw the 2pm ferry turn around! Apparently all ferries from 2am on were cancelled! I went for a long walk again...just love the views....then we went out to jolly Rogers for some fish and chips....I will have to diet for months after this trip! It's so hard when you are on the road all the time!
