Well got up today, a bit foggy, but looks like it will be nice. We drove to Lake Rotorua ..yes we are in hamilton not Rotorura...the lake is two blocks from the city but you would never know it...you cannot see the city at all..great parks and forests as well as houses surround the lake...the walk was about 2 hours...we met police along the way who were searching for a man with altimeters who went missing...we watched and smelled for evidence the rest of the walk! We then had coffee at a wonderful coffee shop on the lake watching all the moms and kids play...we then went into town..two blocks away..to go to the local museum which had a special exhibition on Roman History, architecture and technology. It was brilliant! Lots of old machinery with hands on demonstrations and a movie of the rise and demise of the Roman Empire! We had lunch, then went to an arts exhibition which was so, so...then a bit of shopping and back home. Fred had a rest and I went for a final walk along the river! Dinner at local italian, tv and bed!
