We had a lazy start then headed to Los Cristianos, not a great strategy when needing a car park space. After searching for a while with no luck-but at least having a great tour of the place-we decided to change tactic and head for the always quiet Abades.
We all went swimming in the sea...even Edward...and stayed there till way past lunch. We were going to stop for food there so went into skittle bar, turns out all the old man had were a few unrecognisable dishes in hot plates so we politely refused and had a drink instead. People in Abades don't speak English which makes ordering and paying loads of fun. I asked for dos cola lite, uno cola normal y uno cerveza dorada....I got only one bottle of fizzy water (agua con gas) not sure how on earth that happened!
Realising we were defeated we headed back to Palm Mar to the very English 'cluesaus' for cheese butties and chips. We then hit the supermarket then at 5pm when thoughts should have been turning to tea, the kids dragged us to the pool.
Kayla wanted to see the pools lit up after dark so we are now at the park by the beach, its 21.03 and we are watching the sunset waiting till we can return home....still there are far worse places to wait than a sea wall at sunset :)
