We had a full English breakfast at Pearls for a treat. The kids dragged us to the slide first and made us search for geckos so by the time we got there we definitely deserved it. You can see why the Canaries got their name, there are dogs everywhere it seems everyone has one and then there are a fair few which clearly aren't owned by anyone. At the beach they have a dog training school which is fun to watch.
After breakfast we went to our pool and were the only ones in it. The kids had bought some snorkelling gear but it wasn't very good so instead they just played until we were all too wrinkly.
We had lunch at home then chilled for a bit before heading to the beach at Abages. The wind was really blowing on top of the rocks which was making the waves crash dramatically. On the beach though the waves were actually less dramatic than usual so we took it in turns to go swimming with Kayla. Ed busied himself in rock pools with his bucket and spade, the sea was coming in a brought with it lots of little fish which he was trying to catch in his bucket. Ed went in the sea again too, this time on his own, I don't think he realised he was in it but instead assumed it was a giant rock pool.
We had tea at home followed by Smurfs the movie before all crashing out.
