Today was meant to be the end of our 13 days holiday on Koh Lanta however after a night filled with hot sweats, cold towels, paracetamol and lack of sleep we decided to put our journey to Koh Jum on hold. Today we found out how kind people can be here., we were able to change the dates of our boat and next accommodation so that we wouldn't lose any money. The first must was to upgrade to air con room to try and cool the heat coming from Matt. Money was no option and was over taken by a day of comfort, however even though our accommodation rate doubled we still saved with Matt's lack of appetite (silver lining and all that!).
It was a day of water, para, cold towels and rehydration sachets (thank god for the fridge). We hate to say it but he really is ill and is showing the majority of the symptoms for dengue fever. Oh no.
