The ring fits.
We have started to learn a bit of Thai during our meal times at Mon's (the only place on the island we eat). The women find if hilarious as we try and pronounce things learnt from our app. Matt loves to shout random things at them that have no relevance, for example "Ka Muoy....YUD YUD!!" Which in English translates to "Thief....STOP STOP!!" Or his other favourite "Mai-Kap Pid-Laew-Kap" - No that's wrong. But then resorted to calling them "Sanhlangyaw" meaning lazy. They retaliate by trying to make him cry through spicy food, they love the banter.
In other news, we have just realised how small the toilet is in our new place. We seem to forget things like this are out of the ordinary as well as we haven't had a flushing toilet for months. There's nothing wrong with the old bucket of water flush. It's also occurred to us that we haven't had a hot shower months, this is fine until Char decides to buy and condition her hair with coconut oil...FAIL.
