As this was Craig and Melissa's last day on a beach before the end of their trip and before they move to cold Northern Germany, we sat and chilled out in the sun all day. Then all of a sudden a feeling came over us and we switched in to exercise mode. This happens every once in a while (generally after a long partying stint. Char has already had three nights off drinking due to that unhealthy feeling) and we ran the length of long beach and back while completing sets of press ups and sit-ups. Needless to say we felt much better afterwards.
We attended a reggae party on the beach tonight mainly for the free BBQ and the fire hoop. On arrival it was clear that this was another bar trying to fill its premises desperately in low season when there isn't enough people. The fire show was poor and dangerous, the BBQ was cold and for a night that was marketed as "Reggae" they played the AC/DC black album on repeat. Somebody needs to take some marketing and promotion lessons. It was all pretty funny to watch and we got to hang out with Craig and Melissa and walk through the sewage together that runs down the beach and into the sea at night on their last night before they left.
