After arriving in Bangkok we headed straight to Koh San road but when we arrived at our hotel the rooms weren't ready to check in to yet so we went for some food and a wander to kill some time.
When we could check in we dumped the stuff in the rooms and headed straight to the pool. It was really nice with a bar to one side as well but it was so hot and humid today! We lasted a little while but soon headed back to the rooms.
Me and Shane have been pretty set on getting a traditional thai bamboo tattoo since we got here and decided that our last night would be the perfect time.
Shane went first and had a buddhist yant which means good luck on his back. His took a while but he seemed to manage quite well!
I had a lotus on the inside of my ankle and it was so painful! I definitely hadn't considered how sensitive that body area was! It was so worth it when he had finished!
We then went up to the pool bar for a few drinks and to FaceTime mum to break the tattoo news, which she took really well!
We then went for a final wander around Koh San road to get some food and do some last minute shopping! We also had our last bucket at our favourite bar!
The late night and early start had definitely taken its toll on us and we all headed in early-ish for a final game of sevens.
Me and Shane have finished our last minute packing now and are heading to bed so we can get up early enough to have some breakfast before our early trek to the airport to head home.
