We arrived in Wellington on Friday afternoon, everyone decided we should go out because a lot of the people on the bus were doing different things from this point so we would no longer be a group. The bus only stops here for one night but me and Oddy wanted to stay longer so we booked in for 3 nights. A couple of girls on our bus were doing the same thing so we all got a room together which was nice because it felt like a private room rather than a dorm. We went to a few of the bars and a club nearby in the evening with the rest of the group to say our goodbyes! The next day we took advantage of not having to be up at stupid-o-clock for the bus so had a nice lie in then went to visit the Wellington museum Te Papa and looked around some of the shops. I bought a new top and some jeans because I've realised I took the whole packing light situation to the extreme and have literally had to wear the same clothes every day and am already so sick of them! We had another night out on Saturday then spent Sunday wandering along the marina and looking around the shops again. The weather was suddenly really nice on Sunday (typically when I give in and buy jeans!) so we sat by the marina in the sun for the afternoon before going for a beef roast dinner in the evening. So Wellington was mainly a weekend of partying for us!
