We had two nights in Christchurch before our flight to Melbourne. We had been warned that there is not much to do there due to the damage from the Earthquake 3 years ago which was totally right! We got to Mount Cook on Friday afternoon and went for a short bush walk then just made dinner and watched a movie in our room.
