Auckland - Raglan

Day 1 of the stray tour, our bus driver is called Seagull (apparently they all have silly fake names!) There is about 20 people on the bus, and as it was everyone's first stop on the tour Seagull suggested having fish and chips together at the hostel so we all paid $5 and then went to a supermarket to get some drinks so we could have dinner and drinks together to get to know each other. The activity on offer was surfing which me and oddy weren't so keen on so we opted to go for a walk/ hike instead! A few of us went, it was really muddy and steep in places so we worked up an appetite for our dinner! The fish and chips was okay (not as good as Papa's in WSM!!) But we got to know everyone on the bus so it was a good first evening.
