Woke up this morning to gorgeous views over the ocean. All 3 kids woke early but it was a bit easier to take being in such a nice place :)
Sal and I took the kids for a bit of an explore while Shaun and Garry finished setting up our camp. We managed to grab one of the last spots last night on top of the cliffs overlooking the water, which was very lucky!
Had a chat to the lovely caretaker this morning and she warned us of the snakes. The kids had to be very careful near the bushes and long grass. Her grandson was bitten by a king brown earlier in the year. Luckily it was a dry bite so no venom was injected. So all the kids had another lesson on snakes in the bush.
Archie had his first try of 'real' food today, I cooked him up some pumpkin. He loved it much better than boring ol baby cereal! He is eagerly watching everything I eat now... what have I started ;)
The boys took the kids down to the beach in the late arvo while sal and I had showers while there was still hot water and got ready to catch the sun set.
We had some of the red emperor the boys had caught in coral bay for diner, yummo. Then we had wine and port while finishing off our card game from the other night. Gaz won this time but the challenge was on :)
