Let's go somewhere quiet for a few days... Our thoughts after seven weeks in Thailand - maybe it was taking it's toll a little bit! Lanta Princess was a fast ferry ride from Phi Phi only took an hour and we had a motorbike tuk tuk (best I've seen so far) ride to our guesthouse which was a windy experience. It was indeed a quiet area only surrounded by huts which were restaurants and then the beach, about a five minute walk away with more restaurants and bars that definitely had more of a Thai feel and not commercial... Compared to other beaches this one wasn't great it was really rocky but on a morning before the tide went it did look amazing, seen lots of crabs here! Lucy really wanted a Thai massage so she went and got one, personally I couldn't relax having one so didn't bother. Her face was a picture when she came back, said it was a weird massage and wanted to google what they are actually meant to do! She felt a little bit violated haha!! I've watched the many positions people are put into when having one of these... We spent best part of four days eating dippy eggs and listening to our iPods on the sand! Unfortunately the bad weather followed us here, so everyday we ran from the beach at about 5pm when the sky turned black to stock up on junk food from Seven Eleven and make it back to Lanta Justcome! The reception of our guesthouse was a travel agents/Internet cafe/babysitting so we tried to entertain ourselves! By babysitting I mean the owners little girl clinging to me and Lucy but she was so cute we were more than happy to show her attention for a while until she wanted our iPhones!! I also got the chance to Skype people from home which was nice as usually I can only have one minute calls and the wifi goes off! A couple who we met on Maya Bay camping came to Koh Lanta too so we met up with them on our last night. Had a few drinks, cheesy chips and played games! Was a laugh and they were fab company :) but they weren't feeling too good as had a scooter accident that day, literally had it ten minutes and came off it hurting themselves quite badly. Me and Lucy were so glad her Mam insisted that we don't get one as now we have seen they are really dangerous along with the expensive bill they sting you with!! Overall we enjoyed relaxing for a few days but because we get bored easily and there wasn't much at all going on in the resort we couldn't wait to get back to Phi Phi to party there one last time! Was worth the few day detox though...
