We flew here from Phuket and the fun really started when STA couldn't be bothered to get back to us, we desperately needed to change our flights as could not find any suitable accommodation in Melbourne because the Aussie Grand Prix just so happened to be on the same weekend. Literally a couple of hours before check in and twenty emails later they changed our flight to depart two days later... Great we are in the best airport in Aisa we thought! Being travellers we decided we couldn't afford to stay in Singapore and were told we would be able to check in straight away to use the pool, comfy sleeper chairs etc. Obviously this was a lie and we ended up spending two nights on the airport floor swapping between terminals incase we got removed for squatting! Really though it wasn't that bad and we felt a lot safer than if we booked the disgusting hostel left in Melbourne City... To be honest we maybe should have just booked a hotel in Singapore as we spent the same amount of money shopping in the cute vintage shops! Time passed very quickly and we amused ourselves for the full three days here, we probably sound like crazy tight arses and yes we got lots of funny looks getting ready after a lie in on a morning but this ended up being another fun experience and all part of travelling! Singapore wasn't included in our plans and was only meant to be a go between from Thailand to Australia but I'd love to go back in the future and see it for real! We would both love to watch the CCTV of us looking busy in the airport that weekend haha...
