We had a grand day in Kobe today and I like this city even more now. We woke up a tad late at 10am and we were a bit sore and stiff from the hard bed but we were keen to get out and explore the city some more. We started with a walk to the station and a delicious bakery breakfast where I had a most fresh sandwich. After that we caught the subway one stop to get to the base of the Kobe Ropeway. We moved house again today from Nagoya to Kobe. We had a plan last night to take our bags to Nagoya Station in the morning and leave them in a locker, spend some time doing things in the day and then head to Kobe around 4:30pm. We slept in a bit again this morning because we have both been sleeping fairly restlessly at this hostel in part due to uncomfortable beds as well as noisy fellow patrons. Today we finally made it to Nagashima Spa Land. We didn't quite wake up as early as we would've hoped and it was 9am by the time we got out the door. Phwoar! What a day! Both Shannon's and my feet and legs are killing us! We started out at around 9am and were on the way to the train station to get to Spa Land when it really started to pelt down rain. We ducked into a cafe to have coffee and breakfast and talk about what else we could do seeing as the theme park didn't seem like such a great idea in the rain. We decided on the Nagoya Science Museum and once the rain stopped we walked about 2km to get there....

This morning we left Tokyo for our next stop of the trip, Nagoya. We had one last breakfast set at Sakura Hostel before making our way to the train. It was a bit of an effort to get to Tokyo Station and the shinkansens and there was quite a bit of walking through subway tunnels.
