Off through the central plateau today and arriving into Taupo. There were quite a few activities available to us here but we thought we would save some money for the South Island.

It turns out a normal trip to the interent cafe could turn into a money making event! While sending some emails myself and ian are approached by a Chinese man asking for help, cash in hand, to remove some vinyl from the floor of a Noodle Box to be! It was hard back crunching work and it gave me the mother of all blisters but at least we got $40 for about 3 hours work!

After a fairly heavy night out partying in Taupo we were woken up by the reception calling for Jonny and Ann. Apparently we had told the worker where we were staying and he wanted us to work there today as well so that we could finish the job! Another tough days work and still on $40! Can't complain really although my hand is now offically written off!
