Out of Nelson and off to the Nelson Lakes National park where we went for a small walk around so that we could take in the views which were spectacular! You had it all, beautiful mountains, crystal clear water and killer ducks that seemed desperate for a bite of your sandwich at whatever cost!

We spent the night in Westport where we tried to cook up a BBQ. I told ian to cut the sausages in half so we could make sure that they were cooked in the middle as I was too busy looking after the steaks but he forgot about them and proceeded to burn them to smithereens! It was quite a crispy BBQ lets just put it that way!
