Up at the crack of dawn again today and on the road to Kaikora! We have a new driver called Diesel and he surfs which is pretty cool!

After a 5 hour drive we arrive at the hostel and Diesel offers to take me surfing! So obviously I accept. First things first I need a wettie so its off to the hire store to get one! $15 dollars for the day which is pretty good value! Anyway we rock up at the surf and its not looking that great. We check a place called Meat Works which the tide was a little high for but luckily he knows some other spots! We end up at a point break which he wouldn't tell me where it was as it was a secret, but basically it was in the middle of nowhere right next to a railway track! The waves were pumping and we had it all to ourselves except for a South African named JP who was pretty funny! I think he may have been on something!

That night we chilled in the hostel and said our goodbyes to our new friends. My goodbye to Stine was particulary bad when she started crying, what a baby! haha! I'm gonna miss those crazy danes!
