Finally leaving Queenstown we are heading North to Christchurch unfortunatley without Ian but i'm sure me Pete and Alex will cope just fine! Basically a full days drive arriving into Christchurch early evening! We crossed the Linidis Pass and into MacKenzie Country. The scenery was beautiful but nothing compared to when we finally arrived to Lake Pukaki! The lake was bright blue, fed from the glaciers. The views of Mount Cook were exceptional to say the least!

When we finally arrived into Christchurch we decided to head out for a couple of drinks as it was Petes last night! It was an epic night, and Cams even joined us! We hadn't seen him for about a week! I wonder where he had been?

Next day we spent exploring Christchurch but not after having to change hostels which was a major inconveninence because it was a late night! Alex made his feeling pretty clear by taking his anger out on the bunk bed and also the sign outside the hostel! Shocking behaviour ;) That night I met up with Stine and Susanne, our new friends from Denmark who were travelling a day behind us! It was good to see them again and they were going to try and jump on the bus with us to Kaikora!
