Apparently (so JT informs me) yesterday morning was far colder than yesterday evening - so it would appear that I am the wiser one!!! We are running 2hrs together tonight so the temperature should be the same for both of us?

Another 2hr run done and dusted....hope it's not going to be as cold as this on the real thing - I was kinda hoping to wear a T.shirt and shorts for some of it. It's tough going running wrapped up like a duvet! Roll on summer.... JT was wise and did his this morning.

Awoke with a sense of mission today. JT running 10k cross country this afternoon so I ran a swift but hilly 6 miler this morning so that our 2 hour run tomorrow is equal! It feels as though every mile counts now. The mind is focussed on the run at last. Set up a Twitter account last night: @TheJogler just another way to keep followers informed. Stay warm!

GULP! Just 100 days to go to the start. But the organisation is coming together - all but 3 campsites booked, route mapped and fully documented, tracker system in hand (so the wives and partners will know exactly where we are and how long we've been there!) and most importantly of all we are now stepping up the training schedule to fit our daily routine.... We are very grateful for all your support - we couldn't do it with out you. Bring it on!

John and I ran our first marathon of the year today. Used it as a long training run. We don't plan to run for more than 2 hours at a time from now until the Jogle - the real training starts now - multi day.... watch this space...
