We have spent a couple of nights in Valencia in the area created for the Americas cup. The buildings used for the teams are in the process of being rebuilt for other use, I can only imagine the huge costs involved and wonder who ended up footing the bill. On Monday we spotted the Americas cup museum which like most museums and attractions is closed on Mondays. We duly turned up today to find it has not opened yet and will open in June. The kind lady let us have a sneak preview, it is free and has lots of videos but without headphones this was harder to follow. Worth a visit if you go to Valencia after June.
We went on the big wheel which claims to the biggest in Europe, however the London Eye looks bigger to me. Maybe they do not consider London part of Europe? It did provide good views of Valencia and its harbours.
