A long upwind day to Ribadesella. This is a pretty little port which has shallows to catch the unwary and a sandbar on the way into the river. We had to motor sail for many hours, initial as there was no wind and later because the wind and waves were on the nose. A couple of Dutch boats helped us find a mooring spot and let us know there were no charges and no showers. The next morning we all showered on board.
