A completely calm morning as we set of for Valencia so we had to motor for the first 3 hours until the wind arrived. We saw more large fishes again today. Lunch time was spent figuring out if we were going to collide with a Spanish warship which was doing exercises with two ribs. Eventually we pulled in front, it is not often that you sail faster than a warships. We had a good down wind sail to Valencia having to gybe to avoid a large container vessel exiting the port. As we arrived the wind rose and it required high speed stern to mooring which was just in time as for the next 20 minutes the wind suddenly rose to 40 knots. Now we are safely moored enjoying chicken curry.
