After a night at anchor on a long beach it was time for an early morning swim before breakfast and a shower using the thermal shower on the back of the boat. We left the shower bag on the boat all day several days ago and when we tried using it the water was too hot shower with!
The weather has become very hot, Ian made lunch whilst we were sailing and emerged dripping with sweat. Eventually the wind increased so we were able to hoist the sails and sail to Amerimar, which is a purpose built marina. These marinas are all slightly run down as the recession has hit. They are offering good terms for leaving Javelin here whilst we return to the UK.
Currently we are thinking of leaving her in Cartagena.
