Yesterday was sunny all day and we felt as if we had finally got south of the Galician coast. Today we woke to a damp mist which lasted all day. We managed to sail most of the day in light winds and are anchored in a bay at the top of the Ria de Vigo. This is the most southerly of the rias. The next couple of days will be south to the Portuguese border and then a long stretch of low lying beaches unlike the mountainous region we are in now.
