Spent last night in L'Ametlla de Mar, a fishing port within a small typical Spanish town. Set off this morning with winds forecast to be force 2 to 4 only to leave the harbour and find ourselves in gusting force 8 winds. We put 3 reefs in the main and a handkerchief of headsail as we hurtled along to Tarragona. As we arrived the wind dropped and the sun came out to produce a baking marina. As we had a siesta the wind has come up again and the temperature plummeted. All in all a strange weather day.
