Another opportunity to explore Bilbao, which is set back from the harbour by about ten miles and is surrounded by mountains. The city has lovely well built stone buildings and wide streets. We had excellent tapas at lunch time and then after a struggle found a super market about a miles and a half from the marina to do the shopping. Buying food has been difficult on this trip as the food shops are often a long way from the marinas. It keeps me fit even if my arms are getting longer as a result of carrying all the bags.
