A big contrast today from the last two days of non stop sailing. After a leisurely breakfast, we took the metro into the centre of Bilbao and spent the rest of the day visiting the Guggenheim art gallery. Amazing puppy from flowers at the front, shown in my selfie. You know things are out of fashion when the oldies start doing them!
There was a Yoko Ono exhibition, which I found fascinating. Her performance art was ahead of its time and thought provoking. Howard was less than convinced, which shows you can take the man out of Rochdale but not Rochdale out of the man. The other exhibition was Gorge Bragues a French contemporary of Picasso who explored cubism and other avant grade forms in the early 20th century.
