Ok, the photo is a map but it's the right way round. I didn't a have time to take a pic todayon the iPad although I have few on the phone. It was a late start today from Golega as we met a wonderful young South African woman staying at out hotel . She has cerebral palsy but is a fantastic horse rider and had just bought a beautiful nine year old Palamino horse and is hoping to compete in the Paralympics in 2018. So of course we had to go and see her horse and give him some polos. Then we had a couple of hours of good walking before the rain started. My Helly Hansen jacket is going to feature in the blog with pics so as it is absolutely amazing at keeping you dry. It has some special features that I will share with you later.. So it was head down for long stretches though eucalyptus forests and some proper hills for the first time. Both us us absolutely exhausted when we got to Tomar at 7 tonight and we have an appartment for our rest day. It looks like a beautiful town and lots of history about the Knights Templar who Roger says were real b******s. He can talk. He bought a special bottle of wine for us to share tonight from the local shop. He was so tired he didn't notice that it cost Euro 1.8 rather than the Euro 18 he had thought. Strangely we did mange to drink it. Hope to be refreshed tomorrow and will be sleeping until noon.
