I think I have been getting the days wrong so this is actually our 14th day or walking and what a day. It was 15 miles on a boardwalk with perfect blue skies and the sparkling Atlantic sea on our left for the whole journey. But having just looked at the pic, I must remember to hold my stomach in and try and put my rucksack belts in a more flattering position. Top marks to Jane who made it the whole way with v little training. I had fish for lunch, a Saint Pierre and fish for dinner which was a white bream and all as fresh as anything. Quite a few more people have joined the Camino now. While only about 1,000 people make the journey from LIsbon to Santiago, there's about 9,000 who start at Porto. And quite a few people hobbling round this lovely town tonight after their first day walking. We leave the coast tomorrow and head inland. It's forecast to be 27degrees but going back to rain later in the week. But today has been very special and the only thing the Camino teaches you is to just live in the day.
