I hope you appreciate that for some reason unknown to me, the photos are all appearing the right way up.. This is Roger trying the local digestive after our meal tonight and I will be doing more atmospheric pics in the future...it's just that we were late into town tonight and not much opportunity to take others. So it was the full 18 miles today and once again we didn't see any other walkers. We suspect that others have jumped on the bus to avoid what are the rather dull two days into Porto. But we of course are doing the full thing. It does feel very different from the other Camino where there were so many other people, but I'm sure this will get more popular. There are still reminders when you walk along what we can see are old roads and come across very ancient religious crosses and chapels that this is a very old routte to Sabtiago, but difficult to remember when you are crossing the busy N1 for the third time. We've had a good meal tonight in a local resturant and watched the first half of Liverpool v VilaReal and back in the hotel to see Liverpool lose in the last minute. Well ,it's all part of the big lessons in life...there's always a second leg. So we get to Porto tomorrow, even though we've managed to lose our Camino guide. Friends are joining us there for a trip on the railway down the Duoro river and a few are joining us to walk for a few days. The weather is improving so no one is going to believe our stories of miserable weather....they will be complaining it's too hot. beware pictures of us all in shorts to follow.
