Isobel and Roger on the Portuguese Camino
It feels as though we have left industrial Portugal behind and now going through small villages and small towns that feel more historic. Although I have a few words of Portuguese I cannot understand anything anyone says to me. We've decided to stop looking at the weather forecasts now as it's even more changeable than England. We are staying in a town in a very new hotel and have had an magnificent evening. Roger is trying the owners own version of cognac, after trying their home made white and red wine. This area has its own grape variety and we walked through so many vineyards and tomato fields today. I use admit I've had a cognac too so this might we a short entry tonight but more to follow tomorrow if we get out of bed.
