This doesn't really count as a day on the Camino as we have a couple of days is Lisbon before we start walking. But just to show we are serious about this, our first stop was the cathedral to pick up our Credencial del Peregrino. This is the passport which we will get stamped at our stops on the way. In the photo you may also spot a bottle of bottle of bottle of Duoro red wine. If they are all this good it will help us on the way north to the wine region. Unbelievable rain and storms which we have been able to watch from our appartment overlooking the river. We are in the old town called Alfara....a bit more racy than Stratford old town.
