We started the day with a Beach walk setting off right from the hotel. We walked around the peninsular past a few other hotels. One had a quaint lift that came down the mountainside to the beach. We spotted the pirate ship out at sea that we learnt sailed from Kardemenia.
Most of the day was spent with Nigel and Marguerite sunbathing by our pool. We let them move their suitcases into our room when they checked out at 12:00. The hours seemed to fly by relaxing in the sun. They headed in for showers and dinner and we followed suit. I brought the i pad to dinner to watch the game cup final.
In the bar after dinner we had our final drinks with Nigel and Marguerite and Becky and I settled down to watch the second half.
Nigel FaceTimed us during this but we thought it must have been an error. Like every night we played uno and I was just finishing my drink and thinking of bed then who should make an unexpected return! It turns out that the TUI flight had not left Manchester due to a problem and they were going to have to stay another day. This led to more drinks of course, until I left Becky with them in search of much needed slumber.
