A much cooler room allowed us a longer sleep in. I had just dressed when housekeeping knocked on the door. As Becky was getting ready I popped along to breakfast myself. No easy task as I had started having some trouble with my hip yesterday and this morning I could barely walk. Eventually I made it to breakfast. Only had the one plate and one coffee, mainly down to the lack of mobility! This affected our plans of a walk and we opted to rest by our pool. I had discovered a Spritz that was available that we mixed with lemonade for the perfect sunshine drink.
A quick lunch was had in the snack restaurant, as a way of getting a break from the sun. We returned to the room to allow Becky to have a brief nap and I watched some Netflix.
The afternoon was spent by the pool with Nigel and Margaret joining us for a chat. Only Nigel and I were brave enough to venture into the pool which was a refreshing way to cool down.
Dinner was had in the terrace restaurant having a Mediterranean themed evening. This allowed me to indulge in some snapper. I gave the red more like watery rose wine a try. The fact that it comes from a tap perhaps tells you all you need to know about it’s quality.
We returned to our bar where I managed to get us some Skittles, educating the bartender. He didn’t seem particularly impressed.
A couple next to us were playing UNO, as the shop was still open I nipped in and grabbed us Spider-Man Uno!
Back in the room we watched an episode of the ranch before bed.
