Our second day began even earlier than the first. An awful nights interrupted nights sleep saw us in for breakfast at 7am. We spoke to reception who informed us that we would be able to move rooms at two.
We decided to take a short walk to the 5 star sister hotel just down the road. The Belvedere has numerous pools that can be accessed directly from certain rooms. At the top of the hill it’s main pool overlooks the ocean and surrounding countryside. We popped into the spa for a look around, and although it was very nice, for the price we could get a similar experience closer to home. We walked down to the beach and back to our complex. Passing a stage all set with seating. Unsure as to what this is used for.
This is when the blog gets slightly limited folks as there is only so much to say. Lunch was in the snack bar by the ocean. Back up to our pool inland where we waited for access to the new room.
The room was well worth the wait. Only downside was a smaller tv. Otherwise everything was better. A double bed as opposed to a twin for a start. The bathroom light worked, the bath had a plug. Most importantly however was that we could sit out on the balcony in peace.
The rest of the day was spent by the pool and dinner there too in the Ruby restaurant. I nipped down at 21:45 for a drink in the barefoot bar to listen to the waves. Perhaps more relaxing at night than through the day.
