Hi there

Eventually got to Cradle Mountain, where we did a 2hr walk around Dove Lake. It was a lush place and luckily for us the weather was fine, apparently it rains all the time. From there we drove to the not so pretty Queenstown. The vegetation there has only recently begun to grow back, after being destroyed years ago from the polution of the mines. It was like stepping back into time, this little town seemed so old fashioned. We decided to drive all the way to Lake St Clair for the night, ready for our 4hr walk the following morning. By the time we got there, it was freezing. Where we were staying was practically in the middle of a forest and you could bearly see a thing in front of you. Good job we brought our torches! There was also a lot of unidentifiable furry creatures prowling about. I just hoped to god i didn't need the toilet in the middle of the night, who knows what you might bump into.
