The night we returned from our bottom bus was very chilled! We just made some dinner and crashed out after a long and good few days. That morning we caught up on some sleep and set out to town to have a look around some souvenir shops and bought a few things. As the weather has recently turned overcast and slightly chilly we just stayed in for the afternoon sorting out our belongings and what not for the flight on Saturday to Oz. We also spent some time figuring out a plan in mind for the East Coast! Late that afternoon, me, Catherine and Henry played a bit of frisbee golf in Queenstown gardens which, as the name suggests, is a hybrid of the two sports - getting a frisbee in a cage in a certain number of throws (or attempting to).. Harder than it sounds, especially considering there was a lake right next to us, some holes were 100m+ and the frisbee wasn't ours! After that, there was really only one more thing to do and to remember Queenstown by - another Fergburger for dinner! After a 30 min wait and a walk back to the hostel from the town centre, we each devoured our 'Big Al' burger (2 burgers, 2 eggs, cheese, bacon, beetroot, salad and Aoili) - was divine! Catherine actually beat me eating it and had some chips too! She really should be obese. We had a few goodbyes to our new and old friends and had a farewell drink with them all. Will miss Queenstown a lot - one of our favourite places - and hope to return one day!
